A week after the start of Summer Term lessons, Year 12 Progression Examinations take place (between Monday 20 – Friday 24 April). During this time, our attendance expectations are:
- All Year 12 A level, Year 12 Criminology, EPQ and enrichment classes will be suspended, and students will only be required to come into College for their Progression Examinations.
- BTEC Health and Social Care AAQ, BTEC Applied Science AAQ, BTEC IT AAQ, and BTEC Sport Single Award, Core Maths, GCSE English and GCSE Mathematics classes will take place as normal, due to external public exams shortly after the Progression Exams.
- All BTEC Triple and Double Award classes continue as normal.
- Where a Progression Examination clashes with a Double Award BTEC course or a BTEC Health and Social Care AAQ, BTEC Applied Science AAQ, BTEC IT AAQ or BTEC Sport Single Award class, students are expected to attend the Progression Examination.
- Personal Development sessions for Year 12 students are suspended for the week beginning 20 April, whilst Progression exams take place. Sessions will recommence in the week beginning Monday 27 April.
