Global Sustainable Development Competition

Are you passionate about sustainability and global challenges? Do you have bold ideas about how to make a difference in the world?

The Global Sustainable Development (GSD) Competition at the University of Warwick is now open for entries!

This is an exciting opportunity for students aged 15–17 to explore some of the most pressing sustainability questions of our time and provides a valuable opportunity to strengthen their university applications and personal statements. Whether they prefer essays, videos, podcasts, photography, or creative art, our competition accepts entries to suit their individual strengths!

To enter:
Students must choose to answer one of the questions presented in this year’s competition (more information can be found on our website).
They must then submit their original work via the submission form on our site.
Shortlisted entrants will be invited to a special on-campus event at Warwick, with winners announced and celebrated in July 2026.

Deadline: 4th May 2026 (12 AM BST) – so start planning your entry now!
