On the Monday and Tuesday after the Easter holiday, 28 and 29 April, full attendance is expected in all lessons. Year 12 Progression Examinations take place between Wednesday 30 April – Wednesday 7 May. During this time, our attendance expectations are:
- All Year 12 A level, Year 12 Criminology, Year 12 BTEC IT Single Award, and BTEC Sport Single Award classes will be suspended, and students will only be required to come into College for their Progression Examinations.
- BTEC Health and Social Care Single Award, BTEC Applied Science Single Award, Core Maths, GCSE English and GCSE Mathematics classes will take place as normal, due to external public exams shortly after the Progression Exams.
- All BTEC Triple and Double Award classes continue as normal.
- Where a Progression Examination clashes with a Double Award BTEC course or a BTEC Health and Social Care or Applied Science Single Award, students are expected to attend the Progression Examination.
- All Year 12 A level, Year 12 Criminology, Year 12 BTEC IT Single Award, and BTEC Sport Single Award classes will be suspended, and students will only be required to come into College for their Progression Examinations.
- For Year 12 Criminology students, there will be a timetable of support sessions to prepare for the Unit 1 exam, which students may be required to attend if they are not in a Progression Exam.
- Personal Development sessions for Year 12 students are suspended for the weeks beginning 28 April and 5 May. They will recommence week beginning Monday 12 May.
